My truck starts up perfect when engine is cold.

My truck starts up perfect when engine is cold drive it maybe 20 miles cut engine off wont start back engine will turn over but will not hit wait about 45min it will start I replaced fuel pump relay didn't help I have had a check engine light on which has been on probaley year or 2 way before I had this problem which is cam position sensor Ive noticed when this problem occurs when I turn switch on I cant hear fuel pump key up hence reason I put fuel pump relay on didn't help question could this be the computer or I guess its called electric control module I think this model has the ignition module built in the computer according to my manual any help appreciated.

Retrieve the trouble codes and let us know what they are. It could be more than just one code. If it is the cam position sensor, it can cause non starting.

I replaced cam position sensor check engine light went out now getting a code p0104 now which I dont believe this would be my problem my truck stalled again this afternoon drove it about 3 miles got out for about 30min got back in would not crank just got a click engine would not turn over new battery new cables this may be another problem try to roll off wouldn't start I moved the starter wires the starter kicked in whized the engine but would not start not getting no fire I am getting fuel on the plugs in time past if I wait about hour or so it will crank I leaning toward coil or computer any help appreciated one other thing when it does this I can not hear the fuel pump key up when I turn the igntion switch on if I hear it key up it will start.

If it is P0104, that can cause non starting as it is related to the Mass Air Flow sensor.

My problem was a relay in control box were fuses are stored I believe it was a icc relay.

A bad relay can cause intermittent non starting and stalling as circuits can break intermittently when resistance increases due to heat. It is never easy to diagnose such faults and that is the reason you need to diagnose when problem occurred and find out what is missing.
