My daughter has the above vehicle. She had it diagnosed and they said the check engine light was a cylinder isuue. They replaced the spark plug and that did not work. Should she have diagnosed again as she is getting the feeling she is just paying money for people to guess what it is. Thoughts?

Hi dgrose722,

Thank you for the donation.

Get a free scan done at Autozone and let me know the exact trouble code so I can understand what is triggering the CEL.

FYI - For those of us living in California we cannot get a free scan at an "autozone" store, they do NOT do those free scans anymore. Even with the code number, there are many variables. You can get a code, say, P1300, thats Multiple Cylinders Misfiring - great, but now you have to narrow it down to WHY they are misfiring, and there are multiple solutions involved here.
